The Birth of a Vision
Seven years ago, on February 28, 2018, Great Minds Unlimited (GMU) was founded with a mission to transform HR consulting and professional development. The company’s story is one of innovation, resilience, and adaptability, built on a foundation of expertise, vision, and a commitment to excellence.
At the heart of this journey is Tye Taylor, a seasoned Talent Management and HR professional with over 23 years of leadership experience. After a corporate restructuring in 2013, Taylor took a break from the traditional corporate world to explore new opportunities in HR consulting and talent management in the entertainment industry. That period of discovery laid the groundwork for what GMU has become today.
The Journey
From the start, GMU took a unique approach... blending HR expertise with talent development in industries such as entertainment, non-profits, real estate, asset protection (security services), insurance, early childhood education, higher education, healthcare services, manufacturing, and small businesses requiring HR services.
As Taylor expanded his reach, he established Capital Star Management, Platinum Crown Music Publishing, and eventually, in 2018, GMU, a firm that returned him to HR consulting and professional development, with a strong focus on leadership training and workforce solutions.

Who We Are Today
Today, GMU has evolved into a leader in workforce training, leadership development, and HR consulting solutions. One of its early defining services was Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) training, which played a major role in establishing its credibility and impact.
However, as the business landscape has shifted, so has GMU. While DEI remains an integral part of our offerings, the company has expanded through strategic partnerships to provide a broader range of services.
